Teshia
Certified Yoga Instructor | Barre Teacher | Ayurveda & Integrative Health Advocate
Teshia Isackson has lived in the Twin Cities for 17 years. Her love for yoga began in college when she took her first Vinyasa class and felt an instant connection. From that moment, yoga lit her soul on fire. Teshia completed her initial teacher training in Sculpt and Vinyasa at CorePower Yoga, and has been teaching for nearly 10 years. More recently, she has integrated Barre into her teaching, finding it to be a perfect complement to yoga and a great way to challenge the body in new ways.
Teshia is passionate about creating a sacred space where students can connect mind, body, and spirit. Her classes are designed to foster a sense of alignment, inner peace, and growth, whether you're in a dynamic Vinyasa flow or focusing on mindful strength in a Barre class.
In addition to teaching, Teshia holds a Master's in Ayurveda and Integrative Health. She believes that Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, plays an integral role in helping people align with their true selves and nature. This holistic approach influences both her personal practice and teaching philosophy.
When she's not teaching, Teshia loves traveling—especially to the beaches of Mexico—and enjoys spending time outdoors, connecting with people, and, of course, practicing yoga. She also shares her home with her smart and cute cat, Hubie.
Teshia invites all students to join her on the mat for a journey of self-discovery and transformation.
